Integrity is one of the main virtues by which I try to live my professional life and personal life. It embodies other “for-life” virtues like honesty, kindness, respectfulness, and compassion. My opinion is that integrity should be at the core of any organizational culture and should be the foundation to achieve success. Below is a list of my interpretations of integrity followed by a poster I made of more famous quotes.
- Be confident while being modest and humble.
- Be aware of your fears and insecurities. If left unchecked, they will lead you to regrettable actions.
- Learn to listen, then listen and learn.
- Treat people the way you like to be treated.
- Don’t be a boss. Be a leader and a mentor. Inspire others.
- Make a positive impact on your business and more importantly, make a positive impact on people’s lives.
- Don’t mistake drive, confidence, and motivation with greed, arrogance, and selfishness.
